Briefly, anyone living within the Parish of Winterbourne may be married in the Parish Church or have their child baptised here.

Baptisms of children who are from outside the Parish may take place, according to circumstances.

The rules governing Marriage in Parish Churches have recently changed, so that in more detail:

If one or both parties live within the Parish - or

If one or both parties are on the Church Electoral Roll - or

If one or both parties have lived in the Parish for six consecutive months at any time - or

If their parents have lived in the Parish for six consecutive months - or

If their parents or grandparents were married in the Parish Church - then

It is possible for a couple to seek to celebrate their marriage in the Parish Church.
